Substation Technician
Reinhausen Inc. - Humboldt, TN - Technical Service
What awaits you:
- You will install conduit, grounding systems, structural steel, disconnect switches, buswork, and electrical wiring for substation projects
- You will perform maintenance and repair activities on high-voltage substations and related equipment
- You will operate equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts to support construction and installation activities
- You will work closely with project leaders and team members to coordinate jobsite activities and resolve field issues
- You will travel to customer sites throughout the Southwest and contribute to successful project execution in a safe and professional manner
What you bring to the table:
- You have a high school diploma or GED, and experience in substation construction
- You have the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, prints, and one-line diagrams
- You have strong mechanical skills and are comfortable using manual and power tools
- You are a self-motivated team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- You are willing to travel regularly and can work safely in outdoor environments and changing weather conditions
