Field Service Technician
Reinhausen Colombia SAS - Bogota - Technical Service
What awaits you:
- You execute complete maintenance procedures on On‑Load Tap Changers (OLTC) from different technologies (resistive and reactive).
- You install, start up and configure electronic control units and monitoring systems.
- You provide on‑site technical support to customers and ensure compliance with all safety procedures.
- You prepare clear, structured and detailed technical service reports.
- You analyze faults, perform troubleshooting and support continuous improvement in service quality.
- You collaborate with internal teams and share insights from field activities.
What you bring to the table:
- You have completed vocational training as an Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Technician; a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a strong plus.
- You bring experience in field maintenance of power transformers, electrical substations or OLTC systems (mechanical and electrical).
- You have solid electrical and mechanical skills and can confidently use diagnostic testing equipment.
- You read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and manuals with ease and prepare technical documentation independently.
- You are proficient with computers and the Microsoft Office suite, and you solve problems with a structured approach.
- You speak Spanish fluently and ideally bring good English skills; Portuguese is a plus.
