The Validation Engineer is a detail-oriented person who is responsible to validate and pre check SAP orders and configuration of the ETOS-MDIV to meet the required standards and ensure plausibility and feasibility of the manufacturing process. Check and validate wiring diagrams, SAP configuration data and software to ensure an error free and smooth production process. Support of production supervisor and team lead in case of inconsistencies and provide solutions to meet schedule of production. This role also involves the creating of new tools to validate or improve existing department tools and processes.
Strategic and Operative tasks
- Development of new tools and improvement of existing tools to check configurations/orders
- Collect data and set standards for order check
- Analyze validation data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement. Prepare comprehensive validation reports.
- Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and other teams to implement and maintain validated systems and processes.
- Recommend and implement improvements to validation procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- General support of production line in case of open questions/solutions due to specialized knowledge
- Depending on pre-qualification this person will cover either the assembly or testing process
- Production Data Input validation:
- Validate order configuration on ETOS MDIV Orders
- Validate technical data including wiring diagrams and software of ETOS MDIV Orders to ensure feasibility and error free production process
- Coordinate changes during the assembly process and support with specialized knowledge
- Sustainable elimination of error patterns in wiring diagrams and order configuration
- Support with the scheduling of change management cases (K-Process, AEP and AEK)
- Support all respective departments in finding solutions to complex order data quality problems
Education or studies
- Bachelor's Degree, 3 to 5 years’ experience in industrial/electrical, experience in production and troubleshooting of control cabinets preferable with MR products
- Product knowledge of Tap motion MD-III and/or ETOS MD-IV strongly preferred
Experience and skills
- Experience in electronics, electrical or mechanical manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, especially wiring schematics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Excel, Word, Power Point
- Proficient in SAP
- Knowledge of E-CAD (E3 Zuken) preferred
