Service Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Supervise Service team, comprising and not limited to scheduling of jobs and technical support to Customers and employees on-site
  • Support of Service Sales, including marketing to promote our Products and Services
  • Preparation and submission of quotations, follow up, negotiation and execution of purchase orders up to invoicing and cash collecting
  • Manage Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), involving mainly coordination with customers, provincial agencies and consultants, training and certification of personnel, PPE, proactive improvement measures, Observation visits and site Audits
  • Development and maintenance of strategic contacts
  • Dedicated support for development strategy with other duties assigned

Your profile

  • Skilled technician (DEC graduate) with appropriate experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (at least 10 years) and aptitude to lead resources
  • High availability to answer customer requests with frequent travel (~25%) to support Service Sales growth
  • Advanced knowledge about power transformers (design, functionality, maintenance), Sales competence an asset
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to make decisions under time pressure
  • Energetic, well mannered, proactive attitude at all times
  • Team player and driven to meet customer satisfaction
  • Bilingual English and French (read, write, spoken)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Committed to Health & Safety and act with outstanding ethics and integrity
  • Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident
