Order Processing Service Support Engineer

What challenges can you expect?

  • You will support the Order Processing Service (OPS) employees in the sales teams.  You will ensure the implementation of the process specifications, compliance with the key figures and the use of tools to guarantee an error-free and timely preparation of offers and orders in the after-sales / end-customer business.
  • You will provide support to the sales teams (worldwide) in customer complaint solving processes (troubleshooting / inquiries) regarding MR product portfolio with focus on the products manufactured in the USA.
  • You will determine the training needs within the sales team (for OPS) about order fulfillment process and will be responsible for developing, planning and carrying out training measures in the assigned product range.
  • You will analyze the order processing tools (processes and documents) as well as customer documentation in order to develop suggestions for improvement in the assigned delivery spectrum.
  • You will work closely with the sales teams, our sister companies and the adjacent specialist departments in order processing and the business units.
  • You will support technical and commercial customer advice in all inquiries including the creation of offers and order processing in collaboration with the sales teams, especially for special applications and introduction of new products / services.
  • You will be part of the escalation process in case of customer non-conformities (technical and commercial).
  • You will provide support to analysis of incidents on the field concerning to the MR product portfolio. 
  • You will be a master user in our ERP system (SAP) in regard to order fulfillment processes.

What do we expect from you?

  • Background studies in Engineering with focus in Electrical / Electromechanical / Mechatronics area, or training as a master technician with the appropriate level of experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Power Transformers related industry, preferably in Order Processing, Customer Support or Service.
  • Ability to interpret electrical control schemes and test electrical control panels.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 apps.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.  20% travelling is expected. 
  • Business-fluent English skills (written and spoken).  Other languages are desired, especially German or Spanish.
  • Sales and customer orientation. 
  • Didactic skills and presentation techniques.
