Service Specialist Automation Technology

What challenges can you expect?

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of our automation products in the field
  • Installation and commissioning of automation systems in substations
  • Technical support for customers (by telephone, online and on site)
  • Clarification of root causes of faults in collaboration with internal specialist departments
  • Conduct training sessions on our products at our customers' premises or remotely
  • Integration of our products into customer systems (e.g. SCADA) for transformer operators, including troubleshooting
  • Development of Modbus systems on the transformer in order to integrate various sensors into our ETOS®.
  • You prepare service reports and customer documentation
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in service, consolidating feedback and reporting to our headquarters on the assigned portfolio

What do we expect from you?

  • You have an engineering degree in automation/electrical engineering or have a degree as an electrician, mechatronics engineer or electro-mechanic 
  • You have experience and enjoy digitalization in an industrial environment, ideally in substations and on power transformers, and can inspire our customers about it
  • You have a very good technical understanding and very good manual skills
  • You are characterized by a meticulous and independent way of working
  • Reliability and customer orientation are a matter of course for you
  • Ideally, you already have experience in the commissioning of complex electrical systems
  • Experience with SCADA systems in substations desirable
  • Very good knowledge of English desirable
  • Willingness to travel >50%, nationally and internationally
