Tester/Auditor
What challenges can you expect?
SUMMARY:
This position conducts the pretesting, functional testing and final testing of the Motor Drive. The Tester/ Auditor ensures the units are functional and meet the quality and safety requirements of the customers and Reinhausen Manufacturing.
Essential Functions:
- Diagnostics, reading schematics and blue prints along with cabinet layouts to collaborate with CSO3 for Motor Drive.
- Ability to communicate with all applicable departments, peers, supervisors and managers.
- Troubleshoot the MD in assembly to ensure all defects have been eliminated.
- Determine all aspects of product rework of MD in assembly
- Use, control and operate high voltage testing equipment and report any issues to appropriate Supervisor or Manager.
- Must be able to use various types of test equipment to troubleshoot and assemble Reinhausen Manufacturing or similar products.
- Must be able to use hand tools such as torque wrenches, screwdrivers and different types of pliers for various applications such as electronic and mechanical assembly.
- Knowledge of control gear timing, wiring of control cabinet, mechanical assembly and housing of MD is preferred.
- Strict attention to detail relating to check sheets, completing inspections and filing the test results. Compose and email configuration discrepancies to CS03.
- Daily housekeeping using the 6S standard at each work area.
- Perform daily work schedule according to SAP.
- Crane training preferred
- Check and inspect calibration of tools on a daily basis.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role will routinely be exposed to loud noises such as air-powered tools/presses, oil/dirt, and forklift traffic. Additionally, this position will require some use of various hand, pneumatic air, and battery operated torque tools

- This is a Regular full-time position
- Typical Shift Hours of Operations
- Daily and weekend overtime may be required, as needed
- Flexibility to rotate shifts, as determined due to business need and management discretion
What do we expect from you?
Other Skills or Education:
- SAP knowledge of CM03 and C-Desk in order to access prints and documents.
- Electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Reinhausen OLTC and MD products is preferred.
- Knowledge of IEC and IEEE industry standards requirements.
- 1-3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
- Analytical thinking.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
