Human Resources Assistant

What challenges can you expect?

SUMMARY: 

The Human Resources Administrator will provide administrative support to the Site HR Manager on various HR issues including but not limited to recruiting, payroll, benefits, 401k, on-boarding, open enrollment, leave management, HR policies and procedure, and training.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Reviewing service tickets and sending Customer Service Surveys to customers
  • Tracking of Service Surveys
  • Organizes files to ensure all employees’ and related HR files are organized and compartmented.
  • Assist in the hiring process.
  • Assist with HR issues through guidance and recommendations from Site HR Manager.
  • Assist with audits of all areas of Human Resources to ensure compliance.
  • Ensures all HR policies, regulations and practices are followed in accordance with all laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Complies with all HR ISO requirements to ensure the organization produces a quality product within Reinhausen Manufacturing (RM) ISO policies and procedures.
  • Maintains Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) to ensure the firm is making a good-faith effort to prevent discrimination.
  • Ensure all I-9s are properly created, maintained and destroyed in accordance with Homeland Security Rules.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

Physical Demands:

The employee is required to regularly use hands, fingers, operate controls such as computer equipment and is required to communicate clearly with all employees.


What do we expect from you?

Education & Skill Requirements:

  • Successful candidate must have a high school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Comply with Privacy laws including the proper handling of communication sensitive and confidential information.
  • Understanding of HR related state and federal laws.
  • HR experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Computer literacy including ADP, SAP or HRIS system including advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications is required.
  • Social media experience is required
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft suites, PowerPoint experience is required
