For our location Regensburg we are looking for you as:
Intern (m/f/d) in our Power Electronics department (focus on component specifications and converter testing) - winter term 2023/24

What challenges can you expect?

You will take responsibility in specification of power electronics components for Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC)
-
You will review/analyse datasheets and also get in touch with the manufacturers for qualification of appropriate components
-
You will have to work in collaboration with different teams like Mechanical, Electrical, Software and Testing to evaluate the system behaviour from different perpectives
-
You will participate in the converter testing in medium voltage lab
-
You are expected to go through different documentation for signals used in the system and simulation environment and create new signals in database, whenever needed
What do we expect from you?

You are an enrolled Master student in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics)
-
You are eager to prepare technical documentation and make updates/modifications according to peer reviews
-
You tackle complex problems with creativity and analytical thinking
-
You are interessted in advancing your career in a technically oriented international environment
-
You have a good knowledge of written and spoken English, German would be a plus
-
Knowledge on MMC and on testing electrical equipment would be a plus
-
Experience on CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge) would be a plus
