OPS - Service Support Advisor

What challenges can you expect?

  • Advising transformer repair shops, end customers / operators in regard to all technical inquiries relating to the MR product range. Of particular importance is the analysis and coordination of technical requirements for maintenance, repairs, maintenance and replacement.
  • Provide designated end customers / operators with after-sales technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Providing support to Project Managers on field activities such as collecting information for bids and quotations, analyzing feasibility for product upgrades or replacements, supporting installation and/or commissioning.   
  • Compiling, analyzing (technically and commercially) and sending offers and order confirmations for products, components, parts and services for designated end customers / operators. In regard to services, the OPS is authorized to set prices in regard to individual orders up to certain limits or reporting lines.
  • Coordinating schedules and monitoring progress during processing / commissioning / field service.
  • Assisting with and / or managing internal and intra-divisional projects.
  • Making presentations regarding maintenance strategies / technical issues to customers and at conferences

What do we expect from you?

  • Engineering degree or master technician or appropriate experience level.
  • Experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of products in electrical transmission industry. Transformers and Load Tap Changers are preferred.
