Senior Business Development Manager Region China

What challenges can you expect?
  • Support/Realisation of the MR strategy.
  • Establishment of acceptance and preference for MR products with customers in technical specifications.
  • Identification and development of market opportunities.
  • Conception/ implementation of measures for business expansion and safeguard the business.
  • Analysis of area development and development of future scenarios.
  • Close cooperation with the product managers and initiation of product innovations and product improvements.
  • Representation of MR in technical rounds for standardization, technical liaison meetings.
  • When necessary, accompany customer visits concerning special requirements and projects.
  • Presentation of product information and performing training courses at customers and subsidiaries.
  • Researching the market situation for establishment of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Timely reports of competitor information to marketing department (products, market activities and price).
What do we expect from you?
  • Degree in electrical engineering with skills in economics.
  • At least 5 years of related work experience in power industry.
  • Fluent in Business English.
  • Other languages desirable.
  • Interest in sales and entrepreneurship.
  • Creativity and skills in negotiating situations.
  • Self-responsible as well as management capabilities.
  • Confident standing to the customer.
  • Knowledge and tolerance of the respective culture.
  • Willingness to travel and to be flexible.
