Field Service Technician - German Products
What challenges can you expect?
Reinhausen Inc., Humboldt, TN. Field Service Technician – German Products. MULTIPLE OPENINGS. Provide services to customer including commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency response, consulting, warranty, repair, and technical direction on German load tap changer products. The design types mostly include M, R, T and VM. Execute field service work to quoted gross margins. Complete complex tasks on load tap changers and load tap changer products in the field. Field lead onsite and support MR in all activities. Function as field liaison between customer and factory and support MR in all decisions. Lead a team of engineers and technicians to accomplish a project profitably. Weekend, travel and holiday work determined by customer demand.
What do we expect from you?
Three years of experience in the maintenance and repair of production machinery to include 18 months experience in the installation, maintenance and operation of oil filtration devices and installation of type M, VM, and other In-Tank on-load tap changers. Maintenance and troubleshooting of manual drives and motor drive units including MA7, MA9, ED, and ETOS® for tap changers in line with individual service technicians training program. The candidate must have completed training in M, VM onload tap changers as well as motor drive units including MA7, MA9, ED, and ETOS. Experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various transformer products, including Messko. Experience with high voltage electrical equipment. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Outlook, as well as TS Notes and MAS200. Up to 75% domestic travel and 10% international travel to client sites, as needed.
