Applications Engineer, OEM

What challenges can you expect?

Reinhausen Manufacturing, Inc., Fort Worth, TX. Applications Engineer, OEM. Responsible for order processing and technical review: interpret OEM specifications, clarify requirements, prepare offers, process/monitor orders, coordinate delivery/invoicing, and provide after-sales support. Sales engineering and customer support: lead sales strategy for OEM accounts, conduct customer visits, present products, deliver training, and support promotion/ramp-up of new products. Market and business development: identify and develop opportunities, conduct market research, monitor competitor activity, and attend exhibitions to expand business. Collaboration and project support: partner with internal experts, manage customer projects, support compliant resolution, and assist with technical or cross-functional projects. Reporting and administration: maintain customer/project/competitor records, prepare reports and analyses, and participate in budget planning and compliance activities. May work from home if needed. 


What do we expect from you?

Requires bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or closely related applied engineering field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy technology, manufacturing or engineering. 3 years’ experience with order processing, customer project management, and technical specifications. Strong technical and analytical ability to review and interpret electrical specifications. Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Business acumen with focus on problem solving, negotiation, and value creation. Knowledge of power/transformer industry. 20% domestic travel to client sites.
